z4 xenon headlight retrofit

Does anybody know if the o.e. kit for sale in this link:

can be fitted straight onto a 2003 3.0 smg car with stock halogen lights?

Advice appreciated - the guy selling cant get it to fit his, and I don't want to get stuck with the same problem!

Suggest this is a 'big project' and perhaps a better option is to just upgrade the current lamps.
