Z4 Wheels but no Z4 thread

My newly-purchased merlot 6 speed manual 3.0i is in the only state of Australia that is more COVID-ridden than my patch - so collection has been problematic.

In the meantime I am amusing myself by refurbishing some 19" rims to adorn upon her long-anticipated arrival.

Have decided to do them two-tone - Gun Metal Grey on inside and BMW Wurth Silver on the spokes.

Gun Metal Grey coat applied tonight (I used Duplicolour metallic Gun Metal Grey). Impressed with the result so far. Will keep updating this thread as I complete the wheels and, finally hopefully, get them on the car!

First coat of the Wurth silver on the spokes. Far more difficult to get a good coat than the duplicolour grey on the inside barrel - the can definitely needs at least 3 mins of shaking and spray distance is more fussy. After leaving a few hours to set a light rub with a scotchpad brings it up nicely ready for the next coat (not finished that yet btw).

Starting to look like a real wheel now!
