Z4 v Zymol Vintage

£2,184!!! :headbang: I think I will only buy/use it if I own a Ferrari 458 Italia, or similar supercars.

But if the container is refilled for life, 10 people can share the cost (£218.40 each). Hope there are no special terms and conditions. Group buy, anyone?

IIRC the only stipulation is one refill per year as a few crafty folk started buying and seperating and selling for a profit then getting multiple refills............

Wished i had the money and had the idea back then :D

I have a Kestrel DAS-6 dual action and it's amazing. I did 3 cars with it last year. It really turned my Golf around and for an 8 year old car it looks amazing. I also use the Menzerna products but now have a variety of pads. I use the Menzerna pads for serious swirls and use Chemical Guys Hex-Logic pads for glazes or cars with softer paint. BMW's and VW's have very hard paint so you'd really need to work at it to go through the paint. It is easier to damage with a rotary so most people start with a dual action and progress to a Rotary at some point. If you keep your paint in good condition a dual action will probably be sufficient.

mine has swirls similar to the condition shown in some of the links in this thread. i think i might get a das 6 and give that a wirl.

is it really that easy to damage your paint with a rotary?

I would say it would be easier with the Z4 to burn through the paint on the edges that other cars. Ive got a paint gauge and have readings of 0.070mm in some areas where i was pretty careful.

A rotary does the same as a DA only faster, from my limited experience a rotary can easily leave holograms due to lack of work time if your not careful, where as a DA wont as you need to work it harder for longer to get the correction.

If i can get a test car around mine later today (Mates) ill do a DA v Rotary review regarding size, weight, cost, work time and ultimate final results. Dont hold your breath though lol

Cheers
