hi guys, i have a z4 and am wiring some 6x9 subs ive squeezed into the holes behind the seats, atm there running ok on the rear speaker channels for imput into the amp, however wondered if anyone knew if theres a dedicated sub line to the boot? or on the head unit,
its the standard business cd unit, any helps appreciated cheers.

also ... does anyone know how to adjust the dimm beam headlights .. they seam irritatingly too low for me and i cant seem to see the adjustment screws from the engin bay...

cheers again.

with regard to headlights lots of posts on hear recently re halogen.

The white adjusters are visible when looking down withe the bonnet/hood raised. I did two complete 360 degree turns per headlight, and now I can see, oh and some philips 80% brighter bulbs, but they didnt help as much as raising the level.

Hi
This is the output for the standard audio - no sub. Would you mind posting pics of your install, and maybe a description of how you did it, how you routed wires and trim etc. Im thinking about something similar so am very interested in what others have done.

i saw a pic of someone squeezing 6x9 kenwood subs into the behind seat slots.. as ive done a couple of installs b4 on previous cars i gave it a go... worked well however .. i do not recomend squeezing 6x9's into custom plates as theres litraly a hairs width between getting them in and cutting another plate :-),, finaly getting the plates to cover them on wednesday... 55 quid for both facias... / robbing b"£$%"£$$" ..... sounds pretty nice tho u can tell its not a dedicated sub line like previous head units have.. il try take a pic tho i found a good site with ppls efforts on shows these kenwoods tho .. i recomend getting bmw plates and standard size subs if ur new to the intalling .etc

Ive gone for the custom box in the boot and a nice big 12" subwoofer. I'm using a high to low level line converter tapped from the rear speakers for the amp input. I've got the box on order so will post pictures when ive completed the install.

Currently just using a Vibe CBR10 but its abit harsh and thuddy, i'm after quality low bass so need a much bigger box about 1.4 cu/ft and tune it to around 40hz.
