Z4 sDrive 2.3i M Sport Hi-Line - 2011 (61) SOLD

Hi Folks

Well I have decided to take the plunge and ordered a new Z4 that will be arriving in March this year.

I have only had this one since 20th August 2015 but love the driving experience so much I wish to buy a new one and the 35is so my pride and joy is up for sale.

So to the car itself, I bought her with 5800 miles on and she now has 8700 miles on (this will increase slightly as time goes by) and I am the second owner. She was registered on the 23/11/2011 and is a Z4 sDrive 2.3i M Sport Hi-Line in Deep Sea Blue with M Double Spoke 326 wheels. The tyres are all even and all have 6-7mm of tread on them and the alloys are un-marked.

She has black leather and a whole list of extras that I will list below and is in excellent condition;

Multi-function Steering Wheel
M Sports Package
Wind Deflector
Auto Lights Auto Dimming Mirror
Auto Wipers
Sports Seats
Extended Storage
Professional Sat Nav
Music Interface
Extended Lighting
Auto Air Con
Phone Preparation
Heated Seats

Since I bought her she has had the 2 rear lights replaced due to slight water ingress and also she has had the ABS/DSC unit replaced – both of which are common faults on this model. She has an MOT until August 2016 and is not due a service for 18000 miles so she needs nor wants for anything other than to be driven.

Now to the price – I am looking for £16,500 ono but don’t need to sell her till March when the new one arrives and from what the dealer tells me will be when the prices probably go up so if you are interested I suggest you get I touch now.

Pics to follow but most of these were from the dealers site some 4ish months ago when I bought her, as I don’t have any and the dark mornings/nights really aint conducive to me getting any good ones!

In the next pic you will notice my partner in the passenger seat - she is not included in the sale but may be under separate negotiation lol

Nice looking car and very low miles!

I made exactly the same move from my September 2011 2.3i M-Sport Highline to a new 35is in March 2014. I loved my 2.3i and the 6cl engine with the manual box was a joy on several European road trips. Owned it from new and very sad to see it go but don't regret it for a minute as the 35is gives even more smiles for miles! If you love your E89 now just wait till the 35is comes along. You'll be so glad to made the move as the 35is is fantastic!

Just out of interest - how good a deal did you get on the 35is? Discussions on the forum last year confirmed very big discounts and interested if these are still around?

Its a car ad, not a brass ad. :headbang:

I am really not sure what you are on about as what is a brass ad and your comments are not really relevant

Unless you are referring to me calling the car a "she" which in most motoring terms is quite normal, please keep your comments relevant to the original post

 It sounds like a hooker (brass) ad! Yes I was referring to the sad - her/she from a grown up man, unless you are a teenage girl in what is supposed to be an advert selling a car! Far from normal

That's pretty good and quite a significant saving. Good luck with the sale.

Well after the "JamesBond I'm selling my 35is then oops no I'm not" fiasco, I had told the dealer I was not proceeding with the new one so its with egg on my face that I have gone back - good news is they are now asking £37,800 for the same vehicle or £36,000 for the 35i and same options.

So with this in mind I have decided to drop the price of mine down to £18,250 ono and am going to put an ad on Autotrader at the weekend so if anyone is interested please get in touch.

Had a couple of PM's re the car but nothing much as yet - any tips folks or anyone interested?

I know this is not the right time of year to sell a convertible but thought I would have had more comments/feedback?

No doubt you will go crying to the mods again... however I will try and help as it looks a nice car.

Things that are negative.

The ad is too flowery and personal, its a car! Lose all the she/her crap. Just need the car facts - age/spec/history lose all the dealer pics they are not current. Lose all the pics of meets. Take some nice fresh artistic pics, you can tell they are not current re the weather.
Time of year doesn't matter so much, if someone is looking they will buy - its too expensive for a private sale where someone can go into a dealer and get all the deals and finance from there. What does WBAC come back with, that is your base price and then add a bit to that.

Best of luck

PS please don't PM again. :P

Price reduction till Tuesday 15th March when she goes to the dealers and this is a firm price with no option to make me an offer as this is the price the dealer has offered £16,500

Sorry this short notice but everything is happening all at once.

Car is the same as in the pics with 8800 miles on the clock.
