I have had a good search on the site but still need some more info if anyone is able to help please.
The '03 Z4 I am buying has a built in Professional Sat Nav which I am aware from my former 330Ci doesn't do full postcodes. I understand, please correct me if I am wrong, that you can trade in the old disc and buy the latest version from a BMW dealer for £99. Presumably this will be backwards compatible with any Zed, but will it show postcodes? Will it also give speed camera info? What else, if anything, will it do?
Whilst conscious of dealer prices, I don't think I would be savvy enough to upgrade anything myself (other than loading a new disk) and I am aware that this is not the place to discuss non OEM items.
