I have just fitted a new pump from bmw dealer to the soft top . but sadly 
the roof is not working correctly yet/ the light at the operating switch is red and when you press the button to lower the roof only unlatches from the front of the top of the screen then stops . you can still hear the pump running but the roof wont move back any further . all i can do is press the button to close it . then it closes . so to be brief the roof will unlatch when pressing the down button . and latch close when pressing the close button . but roof wont open or close fully when operating the corresponding switches . if you pull the bowden cable in the boot the roof can be opened manualy by pushing it back by hand. when its in this position and you press the switch in the car to raise the roof you can hear the pump running but the roof will not close /move. it makes no difference either if the car is running or not . The shelf in the boot and micro switch are also fitted correctly . can some one clever help me please
