Z4 Retrofit - Cruise Control, OBC, Multi-Function Wheel

I would really like to do it, but will have to get the dealer to do it. Even for short spurts on the motorway its worth it.

There's NO retrofit cruise control available for post September '04 models :(

Yes there is. It's the same piece of equipment. Just have to wire it slightly differently. PM an email address and I can send the factory retrofit instructions to you.

Has anyone done this on a M. 07plate. I'm all excited now. :)

member rov1 has managed to but I don't think he ever got the details put up :( Ask a dealer about and they say no way

If I had an M I don't think I'd ever want to cruise at motorway speeds, would be constantly slowing down to 50-60 and nailing myself back into the seats! :D :driving:

finally got my cruise control switch, fitted today, 10 mins cutting the cowling, 2 mins fitting the switch. easy on a pre face lift, cant get an easier retro fit!

What was the final cost and did you get the parts from a dealer?
Russ

bought the stalk from the dealers, £60.50 inc vat. used the part number from realoem.com. bought a cheap rotary tool from maplin for about £25 to do the cowling.

Can you provide the part number you used?
Cheers

The part number I found was 61316940989.. it's just the switch, but from what I've read everywhere, the non-CC cowel comes with "markings" on the inside that you can simply trace with the dremel and make the required gap.
