If I had a £1 for every time I've explained this message on here, I could retire
Mapping on NA will likely restore some ponies you've lost over the years, but is unlikely to increase BHP significantly.
Unless you have an independently verified dyno, I would take any any dyno results with a pinch of salt. It's in the tuners best interest to show a "gain" otherwise you wouldn't pay. Eg if the dyno showed that the flat spots were gone, but little/no bhp increase, you're never going to hand over £250 are you? However, of it shows a 15bhp increase you'll be happy to empty your wallet.
I remember one forum member posted 2 dyno runs, with NO changes in between, but they showed a gain of 12bhp or something like that.
What boils my piss is the unachievable expectations that are usually set. "15% power increase" or some other bulls**t claims (excuse my language). Those kinds of gains are ok for turbo and turbo Diesel engines, but not 3.0i NA.
Worth doing if you want more midrange and a smoother journey, just don't expect fireworks.
