Z4 rear bumper looser at one side

I noticed recently that my rear bumper is a bit loose at one side, it can slide forwards and backwards by about an inch just under the rear light, my question is how is the rear bumper attached where/what fixings are used as it could do with tightening up a bit.

Help much appreciated :)
 
Mine is the same mike. I took the bumper off by releasing the screws on bottom of the bumper and push pins in the wheel arches. It turns outthat there is a plastic trim piece that the bumper clips into along the top edge. The plastic trim piece has broken so the bumper clips (moulded into the bumper edge) have nothing to push into and won't be held securely. The part number can be found on realoem.com or you might be lucky and the bumper has just come out of the trim piece. Sorry for vagueness and not knowing theright terms :) hope this helps.
 
Same issue here, right side rear bumper closer to the wheel. Pushable and a bit of a gap there. Clips broken on the inside. Suspect the previous owner backed into something or someone hit the car. No visible damage though.
 
Same issue here, but on the horizontal seam between bumper and fender, right behind the wheel. Since it doesn't seem like a big deal to take the bumper off, I'll put that on my "to do" list when I store the car next Fall.
 
Left hand side ( as seen from the rear) bumper mount is pn 51127016077. I just ordered one from local dealer and cost 21 pounds plus vat.

Yep that's also my solution too, I find if I just plod around it stays put but if I give it some beans it moves out a bit, I can live with it I suppose.

When I push mine in it only lasts an hour. ^^^^^^^ The pic above shows for the M version. Better double check year and model application in case there are a few different part numbers.
