For those of you wanting to give your Zed a little finishing touch !

The next DVLA Auction is over the 3 days from Weds 21st - Friday 23rd Sept in Mansfield and there are a few cheapish Z4 plates amongst them, but also a few there too for a couple of select Forum members (DanStarr, Big Red Cat & Carol ...) and another one for the Bikers !

The full 3 day Catalogue list of numbers can be read here : http://dvlaregistrations.direct.gov.uk/auction/newcatalogue/

I'm up that way in Sept so may tie it in and pop in on the Friday. Let me know if anyone else makes it too.

Interesting list there Alan, some of those Z4 plates might be worth a punt - one or two may go for the start price. I reckon the 'Carol' plate may end up with an extra zero though.

Oh no, you've got me started on private plates again! I've always thought they were a rather a silly purchase, but now I've got a lovely car, I keep getting drawn to the various websites again. I wonder where this will end.... :headbang:

Hook line and sinker! Overcame my reservations. Now the registered displayer of VCZ 424. My initials, my car and the answer to the meaning of life. Can come with me or stay with the car, if I ever part with her. A bargain gift to myself.

I think so too! I might be able to remember it, as well! Some registrations have never stuck in my head. Apart from a family car from my childhood when my dad insisted on us learning it. NAB 624K. A Renault 16ts that pulled our caravan. I think my dad would have liked my zed. Couldn't have got him in it though
