Imagine the scene,

It's a nice sunny September Sunday morning. The roof is down, the music is playing and the wife has popped into a shop to pick up some lunch.

There I am minding my own business and along comes this chinese lady.

She wanted to have her picture taken stood next to the Z4 with me sat in the car!! Now I know they love to take pictures, but I've never had someone ask to take a picture of my car, what a strange feeling. 8)

It happened to me in a French motorway service station, although I didn't get asked.

Got back to the car to find a young lad 'papping' it with his mobile. He looked a bit sheepish when I blipped the lock!

Best thing that happens to me, strangely in France as well is when out on tour with a column of Z4's running through towns and vilages that people stand and stare and then best of all start applauding the cars. not just once!

often the French will compliment you and say al sorts of nice words from the curb side.

I think that the French countryside is starved of nice cars and its an exception to see nice cars.

I live in Harrogate and people dont even look twice at Ferraris, Lambos and Astons... a lowly Z4 wouldn't even get a glance.

Last August in Bangkok, two Indian fella's who were clearly there on holiday (as was I) sidled up to me outside of a trendy nightclub, never said a word, one posed for photo's as if we were great mates then swapped with his mate while he took more pictures of 'us' then they both wandered off looking best pleased. One of the weirdest things that has ever happened to me..... well actually, a few weird things happended to me in Bangkok that fortnight

only had mine a week or so, but had two seperate people took photos of the Z4 outside a pub on Sunday when we were sat in the beer garden watching, one even got his young lady friend to stand in shot, really weird :-/

Then the missus took the piss out of me for the whole ride home

Happened to me in Vegas at Red Rock Canyon with ZetaTre's better half along for the ride.
It was by some uhm (hope I don't offend, sorry if I do) Asian pacific nationals.

I dunno how many other photo's have been taken with the car.

When living in Florida, some folks took a picture of themselves with my California plate as the centerfold.

I was still in the car having a conversation with my girl.
