I’m from Dundee and purchased a non-runner 2.5 Si Sport
First diagnostics was misfire on cylinders 2,4 &6 . Reset and came back on only cylinder 4 , changed coil pack from 4 to 3 and misfire code moved so replaced coil pack.
Still running crap , came up with crank code, a few people’s advice was timing chain so thought it would need changing anyway , still ran crap but noticed inlet camshaft vanos sproket was knackered so strip again and replace.
Runs like a dream , I have a binding front brake caliper to sort , some brake warning lights and a roof still to sort.
Looking to MOT this coming week so see if we have any other faults needing fixed.
