I took my coupe to a track for the first time last week, at a BMWCC evening event at Brands Hatch which is only 20 mins away from me. Quite a bargain at £49 for about 2 and a half hours of open pit lane driving.
The car felt at home on the short Indy circuit, although if I was going to do it regularly I would want a seat with more lateral support as I was sliding around a fair bit on the tighter corners. Brakes were fine once up to temperature and there was loads of grip from the Pilot Super Sports on the rear in the warm weather. They don't seem to have worn too much either!
Overall an enjoyable and well organised event - couple of pics from their photographer:
There were a few other Z's there (anyone here?) of both M and 3.0, quite a few M3's, Z3 MC and even an M6 that took to the gravel after going in to Paddock Hill bend a bit hot!
