Reluctantly, I’m putting my silver grey Z4 M Coupé up for sale and wanted to post here first.
Owned since October 2022, when the car had covered had c49,400 miles, it now has c56,800 miles on the clock. Having driven just 7,400 miles, I’m just not finding enough opportunity to make the most of what is an incredible engine and car. In my ownership, the following work has been completed by either Munich Legends or BMR Performance:
The car also comes with the desirable Eventuri carbon fibre intake and air scoop, which amplifies that famed S54 engine note and provides a performance gain of 10-15hp, 8-12ft-lb.
What truly sets this car apart is the interior. Originally finished in black leather and brushed aluminium, I wanted to liven things up so that the seated experience matched what was going on under the bonnet. Having had all hard plastic and aluminium components hydro-dipped in carbon effect, I passed the car to Lawrence Gray at LG Trimming for the following work to be completed:
The tan nappa leather is exceptional; so, so smooth. Reputedly the same as used by Ferrari, it’s buttery soft and compliments the black Alcantara beautifully.
So, a car that has been cherished in my ownership. I ran it on 19” BMW/ BBS CSLs for a couple of years, but found the ride too severe, so after allowing some time for the Bilsteins to bed-in, I went back to the 224s. While visually not a patch on the CSLs, I find the drive much more comfortable and pliant on the roads of England’s southeast.
The asking price of £28,500 isn’t typical of Z4MCs, but this is not a typical example.
I've included a few photos here but have more, including those taken during the interior refit.
Thanks for reading... Chris

Having driven just 7,400 miles, I’m just not finding enough opportunity to make the most of what is an incredible engine and car. In my ownership, the following work has been completed by either Munich Legends or BMR Performance:
- Jan 2025: Inspection 2 service; replaced DSC sensor; replaced front-to-rear brake pipes; replaced engine mounts; brake fluid serviced; A/C re-gassed
- Jun 2024: Removed O/S rear exhaust box; fabricated exhaust pipes (hanging low since purchase)
- Jun 2023: Fitted Bilstein B12s/ Eibach springs and struts; replaced rear trailing arm bushes
- Feb 2023: Brake fluid service; replaced A/C drive belt; replaced exhaust flange; replaced both headlamp washer telescopes
- Dec 2022: Fitted Focal speakers and Pioneer stereo (the original BMW head unit will be included in the sale price)
The car also comes with the desirable Eventuri carbon fibre intake and air scoop, which amplifies that famed S54 engine note and provides a performance gain of 10-15hp, 8-12ft-lb.

- Seats: Tan nappa leather; ///M logo embossed in headrests
- Dashboard: Black Alcantara top; tan nappa leather lower (including glovebox)
- Door cards: Black Alcantara top + lower; tan nappa leather armrest section; perforated/ quilted tan inserts
- Centre console: Black Alcantara; tan nappa leather knee pads
- Gearstick + gaiter: Black Alcantara
- Handbrake + gaiter: Black Alcantara
- Armrest: Tan nappa leather
- Steering wheel: Black Alcantara outer; tan nappa leather horn/ airbag inner
