I recently purchased a Z4 which came fitted with the a 'Connects2 iPhone Kit' in replacement of the CD Change. First issues with this is it was the out dated first generation 30 pin connector, so this would not charge the latest generation 30 pin devices.
First off you need a 30 pin generation adapter, such as http://www.amazon.co.uk/iPhone-Char...VK8K?ie=UTF8&ref_=pe_385721_126263201_TE_dp_1
This will allow you to charge the later generation devices.
You then need a GENUINE (Note: Non-genuine adapters will not pass audio) iPhone 30 Pin to lighting adapter such as: http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/MD824ZM/A/lightning-to-30-pin-adapter-02m
This will leave you with:
A connection allowing you to play music & charge your phone (Steering wheel controls will also work)
