Z4 facelift Xenon Retrofit - Parts

Hello!

I am a prospective buyer of an 3.0si but the one i am looking at has no xenons which i strongly want as an option.
I have read all the retrofit related posts and i currently i am doing a small research on the used parts.
I have found some complete headlights sets and my question is:

Is there any differences between the xenon headlights of the
2.0 - 2.5si models, part no 7 162 723 ( black finish)
and the
3.0si 3.2M part No 7162717 (stainless steel finish)

Is the finish colour the only difference?
are they both bi-xenon with the same functions?

as long as they are both facefilt's ( and not prefacelift) it should'nt mather it thought, because i've seen a lot of 2.5's with clear (stainless steel) headlights,

if I do not fit jet washers anf leveling sensors the rest is just plug and play for the headlights + recoding?
 
possible but without them it is an MOT failure. some on he have done it and it down to how thorough the MOT station is
