Z4 Euro vs US Nav Software

Hi Folks

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in software between European and US Navigation firmware? I see the nav image on the BMW.com website of a much fancier Nav software, with Climate display, Phone signal indicator etc. My 2008 US version is very (VERY) basic and frustrating, and I would love to upgrade...

Any thoughts - do the Euro models have the same as the US, and is the is image from BMW.com inaccurate?

That's the Professional version, isnt it ? We have the "high".

That is on all the newer idrive cars, like the new-X5, 6er, 7er and new 3er.

No, he is right though. That is an X3 / Z4 monitor with more info then we have now. Interesting though.

I know my Magellan GPS called out directions (and exit/on-ramps, highways, etc) different depending on if I was in the US or Euro erm states....

I think this is a monitor out of the 1-series with iDrive connected to it. I have an Euro Z4M with navi IV and it looks like the first slide, while the 1 convertible I tested before the new iDrive looked like slide 2.
