Do you have windows 7 professional?

XP Mode
If you have Windows 7 Professional/Ultimate you can download and install Windows XP Mode. XP Mode is a Virtual installation of XP that runs at 32 bit inside Windows 7.

XP Mode main page:

Install and use Windows XP Mode in Windows 7:

I've been having a look around since you mentioned it, thought it would be good to have as well. I have found a few problem specific pdf's, but not really a complete repair manual.

unreal after 10 minutes worth of surveys i gave up it fkn spammed me. PDF anyone?
so not one member has a manual?

We all used to use "BMW Tis" which was online, and free. But BMW had it removed, and ruined all of our lives.

Theres a Russian version, if you open it in Google and get it to translate into English it's almost perfect. Here's a link to it in Google's translator mode: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Ftis.bmwcats.com%2F

Just to explain the situation: there is no PDF workshop manual. The CD you have will contain a copy of the BMW TIS system, which is the manual in software form. You enter in car information, click links and do things in a very non-PDF way. As RJS-Z4 noted, someone did have this available online until recently when BMW shut it down (copyright infringement).

When you see odd bits of manual in PDF form, it's because someone has printed a specific item from the TIS.

All of the TIS items relating to the Z4 when printed out would result in a hugely thick book!

The best solution: find a computer savvy friend and get them to set up the TIS software from the CD for you

That explains why nobody's got one thanks guys guess I'll have to get a computer savey mate to sort this out.

i guess there is still ropey copies of the TIS disc out there still? it would be handy to have a haynes manual for it but it seems like these are not hugely available.
