Z4 e85 will not brake and rev

Hi all,
New to z4s only had it a couple of weeks, it's a 3.0i manual 04. Was driving it the other day a tad hard went to heal and toe to change down gears and the revs didn't move at all. When I get home checked to make sure it wasn't me just not pressing the accelerator hard enough, car in neutral left foot on the brake went to rev it, nothing at all. Tried it with the DTC button pressed once, then again to turn it off further and still nothing. Was wondering if anybody has ever had a similar problem and how they solved it?

I’ve heard of the accelerator pedals failing but rare- however it is possible as electric

As you mention brakes too I’d check any vacuum leaks

Have you checked if the MAF is plugged in? I know that when disconnected, it won't allow you to heel/toe.

Think I've found the problem, attached a couple of pictures. one of the vacuum pipes has split where it goes into the air intake.

Clever car that won't let you accelerate as it knows the brakes don't work.

Where are you at?
I have a spare inlet pipe if you don't want to wait the few days for one to arrive?
