Z4 E85 - Install heated seats?

Hi everyone,

Still new on here so excuse any incorrect terminology!

I’ve recently purchased a 2008 Z4 post facelift and it’s fantastic. The only thing it doesn’t have that I’m a bit gutted about is heated seats. Is there anyway to retrofit or install ones that do?

It can be done but not easily.

You need heated seats, heated seat switch near ashtray and then put in new wiring between the switch and the seats.

From first production upto around October 2004 did have the wiring.
