Z4 E85/E86 Retrofit Alpine Freestyle i905D-F

Hi
I've been working on this project on and off for quite some time
I've published a pre-alpha version here

Basically,
- I bought the Alpine_i905D-F
- disassembled the display
- bought a 8 inches display instead but using the original PCB from the alpine Kit
- 3D modeling to fit the 8 inches display in the original CID
- Custom PCB to make this whole thing work

I still have some work to do in order to finish this project

Thanks for sharing your project man. You are the only one I have found so far who is keeping the screen flip on these retrofits.

After a few drives with this setup, I'm not really happy with it, the 8 inches screen is still to big for the interior of the Z4
I've ordered a few 7 inches display (original display is 6.5) to test with the alpine box, I think it will fit better inside the car with a smaller display
Since I kind of mangled my CID casing after mutliple test, I'm lookin to buy one for future tests
