New to the forum, and am after an E85/E86 3.0si Sport. I have been browsing the most common platforms for a week or so (eBay/Pistonheads/Autotrader/Gumtree/Facebook) and have seen a few examples in the spec I am after, but most have sold.
Thought I would put a wanted ad up on here.
Would much prefer an E86 Coupe, but would consider an E85 Roadster but would have to be perfect spec.
Must be 3.0si Sport, with a manual gearbox.
Good service history (ideally full) is a must.
Will consider all colours, but interior must be black (heated M Sport seats).
Not too bothered on options, would be nice to have xenons, parking sensors, cruise, but ultimately not too fussed on the options, would just be a bonus.
Budget is around £6k. I appreciate it might be hard to find an E86 Coupe for that, but they do pop up now and then with higher mileage (which I don’t mind). There was an example recently with 144k and very highly maintained at £6k ono but found out this morning it sold a few days ago, would have been ideal for me, was a bargain looking at the condition.
As above, mileage does not bother me, so long as it has been serviced and maintained; ultimately a higher mileage car is likely to be nearer to my budget.
For the right car, there is a bit of movement on my budget.
Based in Portsmouth, the nearer the better but willing to travel (lockdown permitting).
Hopefully something turns up!
