Z4 E85 Diamond Key Fob

Hi everyone, Merry Xmas to you all,
I was wondering if any one has made a key fob charger out of a ews ring that charges the key up when driving, would this be possible to do?
If any of you tech savvy lot would know if this could be done my question is how? I've got my self a new ews ring. it has 2 pins in it which I would assume are the positive and negative, would it be a matter of just connecting these up to a 12v battery with a on off switch.
I'm absolutely useless with electronics but thought this might be a possible solution to the dead key syndrome when we don't go on long journeys to keep the keys charged. If any one knows if this can be done I'd appreciate any advise

Not sure about that, electrics aren't my forte either.

In regards to charging, have you heard of the electric tooth brush method? The key works on a similar principle, so the key can be charged by a electric tooth brush charger.
