Hi all,

Can anyone enlighten me on silver grey (A08) colour?
Is it more grey than silver, hard to tell from pics.
How does it compare to sterling grey and is it relatively rare?
Is it a good colour for Zed convertible?
Any opinions gladly received :D

I pinched this chart from someone on here while ago which might help a bit!

Silver grey is darker than Titanium silver and has more grey, which is not discimilar to Sterling grey.

Mine is silver grey, so judge for yourself if it's a good colour for a Roadster :D

Doesn't show the dirt very much so washing is kept to a low level & it stays looking good, it's obviously the best z4 colour

Regards

Well said smartbear , also worth noting silver grey polishes up far far better than any other BMW paint colour

My log book just says Silver but when I ordered some touch up paint they said it was Titanium Silver Metallic which isnt on that list.

Silver grey owner here, definitely has a slight blueish tint to it, Lots of people have commented on what a nice colour it is which is unusual for a silver car, I loves mine
