Z4 E85 3.0si - cheapest and highest miles in EU?

Hi all
About a month ago, in the middle of winter, I bought my Z4. It was almost a spur of the moment buy - I was in a different city on business, saw the ad in the morning (it was in that same city) and at that price just couldn't resist.

It's a 2007 3.0si with manual transmission. Night blue with caramel leather seats, almost fully loaded (I believe I'm only missing dimming outside mirrors). About 193k miles, but actually in really good condition. Had a few small issues which are being sorted out (torn driver's seat, broken front bumper clips after parking too close to the curb, OFHG leak etc.) and it will be perfect. On the plus side, it has almost new water pump, radiator and expansion tank, spark plugs, clutch&DMF.

So how much was it? About €7,5k. I've been monitoring main EU sites for the last 3 months, the cheapest 3.0si I saw was around €11k, but most start at 12-13k for a high mileage, poor man's spec, so I think I did pretty well, don't you?

Nice deal and a nice Z4. Not the cheapest though. Was there not one bought for £300 recently.

Edit:- Just checked. That one is a 2.5. :D

A Z4 that has been enjoyed and used. I wonder where it’s been in its 193k miles.
Very nice colour combination.

Welcome, these engines can certainly do the miles when properly maintained. I’ve not heard of night blue before, was that an official colour or could it be monaco blue?

Hi and welcome - that's a lovely colour combination and the 3.0Si has a great engine.

From what you have said about prices it's another reminder of how lucky we are with used car prices in the UK!

Anyway enjoy getting your car how you want it and putting some more miles on it! :driving:

Some call it middnight (or maybe it depends on the market), officially it's called Night blue - Nachtblau in german. Both the exterior and interior (caramel) colours were not standard, they are from the BMW individual palette.

Welcome!
Love the interior color.

I own a 3.0si 2006 for a year now, bought it with 234.000 km (for 6000 euros in DE), So you're definitely not having the highest mileage in the EU. :P

193k miles = 310k km I think. So he wins, at least over you haha

Also for highest mileage. In the Dutch forum (where both Casper and myself operate as well), we have Rob driving an '06 3.0si roadster that has just covered 328k km / 203809 miles (and got his yearly MOT again). Sorry ... Does not mean that 311k km / 193 miles is not a respectable mileage of course.

And the colour combo of Nachtblau / Sattelbraun is very nice of course!
