Z4 Diesel

I'm guessing they've re-used an advert for a sold merc diesel coupe and changed the contents to the Z4, cheap gits.
 
Been hearing whispers about Z4 diesels, with BMW following AUDI by putting the oil burners in their sports cars.

Anyone heard anything else?

Put a tuned version of their 3.0 diesel lump into a Z4, am sure they"d be onto a winner - look at the residual value of 4-5 year old TDi AUDI TT"s

Mercedes will be launching an SLK diesel shortly, they have seen how the TT tdi has sold, will BMW follow suit?

I would certainly consider a Z4 diesel, prefer it to the 4 pot petrol turbo, which I don't think sounds that brilliant tbh
 
I've become a diesel convert to the new generation of oil burners

The 3.0D in 'S' spec., where it gets sequential twin turbos and a better map has huge power and torque. If it can take a big XF to 60 in <6 it would sure move a Zed, albeit a bit front heavy.

What you do miss is the high revs that petrol gives when you're playing with the gearbox and a good road
 
Don't think they"ll ever go the whole hog... make it 4 wheel drive as would prob trash the handling
