Saw this on BBC just now, hope it's not someone from here? Horrible to see anyone die in a car crash, let alone someone in a Zed.

That is a real mess.

I'd worked out it was a BMW before I read the report, but only realised it was a Z4 when I saw this.

Very sad - my condolences to the driver's nearest and dearest.

I'm amazed that the passenger has "non life threatening injuries" looking at the photos.

That is pretty bad. I thought Z4's were fairly good in accidents but a fire engine isn't going to give much in an impact.

Not far from where I live, I know the junction well. Difficult to understand what could have happened.

Bloody hell! how did anyone come out of that alive. Tragic for others involved
