Hi guys,
I'm hoping you'll be able to help me. My radiator fan is not working. I've tested the wires and I have a good earth and the thin black/blue wire (signal from the Ecu to vary the fan speed - I think??) was reading 4.7v so this looks to be ok. The thick red/blue cable, which I think should carry 12v when the ignition is on, has no supply.
I cant seem to find out if there is a fuse or relay that controls this. Furthermore, I cant seem to find any relays anywhere in the engine bay. Are there any??
I've checked the fuses in the fusebox and the fuses in the black box on the passenger side of the engine bay and they all seem to be ok.
I'm stumped with this as Idont really know where the feed ie the red/blue wire comes from. I'm not 100% sure it should have a constant feed but it makes sense that it would.
I'm reluctant to use the car for any more than short journeys without etting this sorted. Can anyone advise what will be causing this?
