z4 basics?

I tried searching and maybe didn't do it right.. but looking to find info on:

-chassis names for Z4 generations and the M's
-what does "'53 plate" mean? (chassis)?
-differences between years of z4's and the m's? For example '03 to '04/'05, '06-'08? Not sure if those are the right delineations

Chassis names:

E85 = Z4 roadster
E86 = Z4 coupe

53 plate means registered in the UK between September 2003 and End Feb 2004

If you click more info it shows the spec, what's standard and what's optional. The faclift Si Sport had the M suspension bits as standard.

:!: EDIT: read the review - I'd probably ignore their opinions and make your own mind up about the drive! A few of the guys on here with Ms just went in to test the 3.0si.
