Hi all,
Just joined the forum and have a question on the above. I'm trying to fit an aftermarket DAB radio (DAB Motion) and need to remove the A frame trim on a new shape Z4. I can see I a couple of bolts under the sun visor but nothing else. I know these things usually have a knack to them but don't want to push and pull the wrong way. Can anyone tell me how they are removed? Photos would be great if poss!

Many thanks,
Peter

Hi,
Does anyone know the correct way to remove the trim on the A frame below? Please see pic. Need to attach a DAB aerial to the metal frame and obviously don't want to break any trim in trying to force it. Can see the bolts in the visor, so just need to know if there is a knack to getting it off. Can standard trim tools be used, or have BM created something special?

Thanks,
Peter

How do you find the DAB reception with a windscreen aerial? I'm thinking of upgrading.

I'm not sure I would class DAB as upgrading. The quality isn't as good as FM really as it's compressed. Unless you are after a station you can't get on FM I don't think it's worth it.
