First time post from Brian East Yorks,

We bought our new 35IS two months ago, We ordered it with the 19" 326 M wheels not thinking what the brake calipers would look like.

Big mistake! They really let the car down, Painted in Grey and looking like something off a old Escort!
Any recommendations for replacements be it BMW or after market? Cheers.

Hello brother  and welcome to the forum

I know exactly what you mean, I kept them OEM due to possible warranty concerns, but had my calipers powder coated in blue, they look really great to me :D

Hi Welcome . Yes the standard OEM are a bit of a let down on looks. There are a few Big brake kits around but can cost serious money if all you want is to improve the appearance , and unless you want to do some serious track events the OEM brakes are great as they are. As Kermit say's to stay within the warranty your probable only option is to have the calipers painted. I just did this by Big Red in Worcester it does mean taking them off which on a new vehicle may not appeal . IMG_0902.JPGIMG_0901.JPGIMG_0900.JPGIMG_0589.JPG

Whilst at it I replaced the discs /pads and changed to S/s braided hoses.

You don't need to remove them to paint them.,I don't ! Just take your time & prep them properly. A afternoons work
