Z4 3.0si strut brace

Hi guys,

apologies if this has been posted before, but does anyone know if the official BMW Z4 strut brace (part number 51710305114) fits a 3.0 si Z4, as on the parts sites i'm looking at (realoem.com) its only listed under the 2.0i, 2.5i, 3.0i and M versions?

Any help or advice will be much appreciated :)

It looks like it will fit--I have one and still haven't fitted it (been too busy and the weather has been either cold or wet). I've laid the brace and ends over the engine -- it will be very tight over the back of the air intake and it will go right over the oil filler cap so you'll have to remove the cross piece to change/fill the oil.

thanks for the response. If you dont mind me asking, roughly how much did you pay for yours, as my local BMW dealer are quoting me £235 for one?

I bought it used from someone. £235 sounds about right. They're not cheap but they look GREAT.
