Hi,

Its not mine, but a friends at work who is selling to buy a 3 series vert for more space.

Its a nice car with full bmw service history.

Thanks

Was thinking the same. Nice looking but rather on the high price side. Thats MR territory. Wonder if the seller bought from a garage and is using garage prices to move it on. Anyway, good luck with the sale.

Just for reference, I traded in my higher spec, similar age & mileage Z4Coupe Auto in Oct for £10,500 :

The dealer tried over winter advertising at £15,250 and has dropped now to £14k. Presuming they have performed any necessary work (Insp 2, brake fluid change, new rear tyres, etc etc) I would say its worth £12k from the dealer because of the spec and warranty (with nothing needed doing) .

This car I would say its not far off maybe around £11k is more realistic.

Bluestreak - tried to buy your car today but it sold this morning! :(

Really? I wonder how much it sold for in the end. More than I advertised it for I'm sure..

Most likely but you hadn't prepped, serviced,MOTd & warrantied it

Gotta agree , the linked AT coupe in silver is unlikely to see much interest at £12k :( its a 50k car with a drivers bolster resembling 100k :o its a auto which isn't a bad thing but does affect demand & value slightly

The owner is willing to negotiate on price. He used autotrader to compare other cars and priced accordingly. I guess if there are no bites at 12k he may reduce it. He is not in a rush to sell and probably not the best time of year to sell a coupe :) appreciate the feedback all.

I'm looking for one and spoke to the owner, but he wouldn't go below £11.6k which was too much vs some of the cars offered by dealers for similar (or not much more) money...

That looks like an 11k car. Spec is reasonable, condition looks nice other than bolster wear, mileage nice, recent insp 2 at BMW. I think he will be disappointed if he's holding out for 11.6k

Not far off my thinking. Bolster wear on driver's seat in the pics looks pretty bad, and I would want to improve that if I bought it. Was thinking £10.5k myself, but not a million miles away from £11k...
