Z4 3.0l Auto gear box oil change?

Hi all
I recently had the engine oil and gear box oil changed in my car and am a bit concerned that this has been carried out correctly.
The "Gearbox service kit" was £175 which is not my concern as this garage only services German cars and some very expensive cars at that (which is why I chose them) so I can't imagine them using substandard parts.
However on reviewing their bill I noticed they only charged 1/2 hr for labour for the gearbox oil change!?
I realise the car was on the ramps anyway but 1/2 hr to drain, remove bottom sump plate, swop filter, clean magnets, replace sump and refill, that's seems pretty rapid to me and I'm quite good with the spanners myself.
Any views?

It's more than a 30 minute job really but then the 'service kit' is nowhere near £175 if you buy it yourself so they've probably just offset the cost against that.
 
I don't have an auto but assume it only has plugs to remove?

This is why I don't pay anyone to do any of my fluid changes. Often they want an hours money for 10 mins of actual work. That and they never fill it correctly.
 
No, with an auto there's a cover plate, a type of sump plate really, with quite a few bolts holding it in place which have to removed to get at the internal filter and magnets which should be cleaned.

I will have a look at doing mine, I read somewhere that you need to fill it, then start the car and run the gearbox through all gears, then remove the fill plug while the engine is running and add more fluid until full.
