BMW Z4 Coupe, 2006/56, Manual, Montego Blue.
£11,250.
Regrettably I have my BMW Z4 Coupe for sale.
The genuine reason for sale being that I have changed jobs and my commute is now considerably longer; (specifically - offshore to the North Sea) thus rendering the Coupe an inappropriate car for my current circumstances - it needs to be owned by someone with the time to enjoy it.
I may take a low value P/X as a runaround
From my experience the Coupe is a lovely, all round driver's car, with classical lines, an engine and manual gearbox to match and is a pleasure to drive. Since the initial day of ownership to present day I have achieved an average MPG of 31.7 which is pretty impressive when considering the engine and power output of the Coupe.
The Coupe only has 3 Previous Owners.
The Coupe was first registered on the 17/11/06 just prior to the next Reg being released.
The Coupe has been subject to a full Dealer Service History, which is as follows:
21/09/06 - Pre Delivery Check
03/04/09 - Oil Service - Mileage 18287
29/12/10 - Inspection 1 - Mileage 22457
11/02/13 - Oil Service - Mileage 40090 (This service completed at a BMW Specialist)
Full Diagnostic Procedure also completed with Printout.
Therefore the next service of the Coupe will be due in 2 years or 20000 miles, whichever comes first.
The Coupe had its MOT completed on the 07/12/12 therefore 11 Months of MOT are remaining.
The Coupe comes in possibly the best colour for the car, Montego Blue with a lovely contrasting Black Full Nappa Leather interior.
As you can see from the pictures illustrated, some improvements have been made on the Coupe which are as follows:
19" Cades Tyrus Deep Dish Alloys, which incorporate a staggered fitment of 19 x 8.5 on the front and 19 x 9.5 on the rear thus giving the Coupe a much more aggressive stance on the rear. The tyre fitment on these are 235/35/19 on the front and 265/30/19 on the rear, all tyres being relatively new as of last year and all having tread depth of approximately 5-6mm. The cost of this package being £1200.
The standard 17" alloys which came with the car will also be provided to the new owner as part of the package, these all having Bridgestone RunFlat tyres with good tread depth still remaining on them, the benefit of this being that both sets of wheels can be switched around for the different seasons of the year, therefore keeping the 19" wheels immaculate. Saying this the 17" alloys are unmarked and are in mint condition.
Quad Exit Custom Powerflow Exhaust, Cat Back System with Rear Bumper Modification. This exhaust system not only enhances the rear of the Coupe to what it should look like, as is the case with the M Powered Coupe but it also significantly enhances the sound of the car.
An accurate descritpion of the audible sound that it produces is that it fully enhances the Straight Six engine noise with a desirable rasp that never becomes tiresome. I can state that the exhaust note is not overbearing and there is little if any drone, in a nutshell it can be quiet when required or very noticable when desired with some lovely pops and bangs on overrun. The cost of this system being £600. This exhaust also comes with a lifetime guarantee.
Parrot MKi9200 with integrated screen, Bluetooth Functionality, iPod connectivity and USB and Jack connections. This sytem is installed on the aluminium dash board, to the left of the steering wheel with the control function being situated next to the handbrake, similar to that of an iDrive control. This system allows you to have full and accurate Bluetoth Phone Preperation as well as iPod or MP3 connectivity. The cost of this system installed being £220.
HID Xenon Dipped and Main Lights, this system was installed at a local Auto Electricians around a year ago which vastly improves the power output and colour emitted from the Coupe.
Fully debadged exterior which was carried out professionally thus creating a much more streamline and clean exterior appearance. Upgraded Stubby Aerial and Power Sounder Modification.
The Coupe also benefits from Hill Start Assist, Auto Headlights, Auto Windscreen Wipers, Comfort Package, Auto Air Conditioning, Fully Electric Seats with Memory Functions, Sports Button which improves throttle response and steering feel, CD Player, Front Headlight Washers, Auto Dazzle Rear View Mirror, Tyre Pressure guage, Adjustable Traction Control, Service Interval Indicator, Front Fog Lights, Full Aluminium Interior Finish, BMW Door Sills.
This Coupe has always been warmed up and cooled down sufficiently, has never been driven hard and has never been subjected to any track driving. It comes from a smoke and pet free home and is immaculate in all aspects.
The Coupe has been washed, waxed and detailed regularly, therefore the paintwork is generally in mint condition.
I can say that this car is a zero spend purchase for any potential buyer and any inspection would be welcomed, any test drives would have to produce relevant fully comprehensive insurance documents prior.
