Sounds like a dealer who either didn't want to take it in px or more likely doesn't know the Z4 market so looked at bottom book and then knocked a bit more off that for good measure. Some dealers don't deserve to be in business.

Get it detailed, i.e make it look utterly mint - get decent pics up and it should sell.

I bought mine last year, very simailr car, 73k, grey, leather, 3.0, 53 reg etc for 8.5k. Last April! Bargain, it looked SO mint in the photos, and was when I went to look at it. You soon forget any mileage worries when a car is very very clean.

Out of interest what did you sell it for in the end? I hope for over £8000...And to be blunt for more my sake than yours LOL... My 2003 Silver Grey/Is basically same spec as your car. Milage biter lower 75k odd.. Only differnce is the colour and few options ... Sat Nav/heated Seats/Carver ICE Not sure if that any alot of value
