z4 2.5si disc brakes

but is it possible to install front brembo max and standard brembo oem as rears? although it does not make any sense for them making the fronts and not the rears.

but i think you are right since i could not find them anywhere
 
I would never consider fitting different discs (or pads) front to rear as it could affect brake balance and performance.

Only exception would be replacement oem and aftermarket plain discs.

Z4 fronts is likely as they just happen to be the same as an E46 or similar but not the rears.
 
i think i will go for the MTEC disc brakes.

they also do them in black to prevent corrosion.

have only found one post on the forum. so cannot really say if i will be making a good decision.
 
EBC Ultimax are a popular choice. I have them.
Black finish that lasts well on the non friction areas good performance and foo through the wheel look.
Some initial droning on braking until well bedded as all grooved discs
