Can anyone advise we have a Z4 2006 year 2.0 sport 53k, that occasionally just cuts out as if you just turn the key to turn engine off, engine stops and with dash lights still on, dosnt stall or grind to a halt like fuel is running out, just cuts out altogether. diagnostic says it was engine immobiliser and the key has rolling codes and as its 10years old so may have worn out, and speaking to local BMW dealer a new key ordered which comes coded, been fine for 200 miles and started cutting out again lost power and stalls as if the immobiliser has cut in. it will start again after taking key out, locking and unlocking and starts again, has anyone got a solution?! Very frustrating thanks
