Z4 10.25 inch Android Screen

Hi folks, I'm looking at one of these as my next mod, I've already done a major upgrade on the speakers and the difference is mind blowing. I quite like the idea of being able to use apps more easily and the sacrifice of not being able to store the screen is worth it I think. Has anyone done this already? If so what are your thoughts. I already have iDrive so don't have to worry about that aspect of the upgrade.

Hi Lewis - focal speakers in the doors, also had the doors fully sound proofed. Then I had an Audison amp and DSP fitted. The car already had the HK upgrade, so the music is passed around the car as an optical, lossless, signal. The effect of the DSP is to make the sound stage appear to come from the centre of the dash - it applies very slight timing alterations to the sound signal coming out of each speaker. The sound is absolutely mind blowing, it utilises the same head unit and all iDrive functionalisty is preserved. I'll post some pictures.

Would love to see what you come up with. I've toyed with upgrading the audio in my Zed but it is mind blowingly expensive to do these things here :dizzy:
