A few years ago I had a chance to buy a red one from a friend (well-known in BMW circles) as he had two and was selling some of his collection of cars off (he was keeping his green one at the time). It was very low mileage and I could have had it for only £10K.
It had always been one of my dream-models of BMW. Sadly, when I got in it I found that at only 6' 2" with the roof up I just didn't fit!
