Hi again,

Im about to get a Z4 58 plate.

I also have my own sat nav unit. Garmin
It has a big sucker on the bracket arm.
Anywhere to actually stick it.......not being rude of course.

Cheers

Brodit offer a selection of mounts which fit the car without damage all car model specific and also Garmin specific and not a sucker in site google Brodit for suppliers or

I use a magnetic vent mount, much better looking than huge suction cups and mounting brackets coming off the windscreen and doesnt obstruct the drivers view. It also makes it really easy to detach as well.

See this topic for ideas .....

Or is you persevere with the suction mount, try mounting it in the bottom right corner of the screen and feeding the power cable under the steering column (tucked in of course) and into the cigarette lighter. Works for me.

I actually hard-wired an extension cigarette cable adaptor and fed it under the trim on the transmission tunnel, under the driver's seat and exits just next to the seat runner. I can then plug the sat nav into that and the cable is almost completely hidden.
