Z Attack

Fucking disgusting ...

My worst nightmare. Luckily for me , I look like the type of person not to F with ( I'm a softie at heart) so I don't really get this type of s**t. However I would have followed at large distance till they stopped and took a bat to their car when I knew where they lived on another evening . Where I come from its an eye for an eye.

With the above post. Get on with it I say.

Cheers all! Looked at requesting details of the registered keeper but you need an explanation for why you want the information and what you're going to do with the information blah blah

I'm sure you said that you'd accidentally bumped their car in Tesco's causing minimum damage that you want to make amends for

That's a shocking incident and but well done to the Police for following it up.

Have you identified what the liquid was? I hope that it was only a drink and nothing worse, but I think that I'd be wanting a specialist cleaner/valeter to clean it up.

Don't take this the wrong way but i really hope this wasn't Zed envy. Its not like most E85's like ours are worth massive amounts these days. I really hope this was just young idiots who would have tried this trick on any convertible saw, whether it was a battered £500, 25 year old MX5 or £200k Ferrari.

That said ,however if your phone is damaged or the car is damaged in some way, (even if it just needs a proper valet) tell the Police you want to pursue it as criminal damage, or even assault if any of the liquid went on you. If memory serves a section 59 relates only to "vehicle used in a manner causing alarm, distress or annoyance". Or ask the police for details of the culprits so you can pursue a small claim court thing.

Even if you never saw a penny from the little scrubbers a CCJ (if they didn't have one already that is) would no doubt make there life financial difficult for 6 years, as they would be unable to lend money/bank loan/credit card etc unless they get one of them "pants round your ankles and bend over while we shaft you jobs" This would have more or a lasting legacy for them than a telling off from the cops!

You couldn't make this stuff up.... Just had a text from the Police - the car has been stopped this evening, driver issued a Section 59 Notice along with passenger who sprayed the liquid. Fair play to DC police, swift acting on this! I'm genuinely quite impressed

Best result possible, must make you feel a bit better

I would go down this route as well as the police. Reason for details is so you can pursue a civil claim. Just don't be silly enough to go and set fire to their car after you've started the paper trail!

That's horrible and I feel for you. Don't think I've ever heard of anything like this before.

Good result to get them a Section 59.'Driving like a tw*t' is how I heard it described on tv recently. IIRC a second offence can get the car seized and or licence taken of young drivers, which they were. Hopefully it will scare the driver a good deal, but doubt the passengers.

Taking action yourself- forget it. If you can find them so can they find you and do you really want that nonsense...

Step 1 - Find where the owner lives
Step 2 - Collect a good amount of piss and / or other nasties in a plastic bag
Step 3 - Hang the piss full of plastic bag on their house door handle
Step 4 - Ring the bell and get away
Step 5 - Watch in joy as the plastic bag slips from the door handle, as they open the door, and the piss starts to flow into their house.

F**king D*ckheads....

In another universe it would be acceptable to find them and beat the s**t out of them. A broken arm and opposite leg really screws them up.

There's quite a lot of damage that can be done alarming easily to various tendons that are every bit as good as breaking bones.

Just sayin'.

In an alternate universe of course!

Oh sure. Sure.

Wow, what a bunch of ************ ***** * ** ****** - glad they found the fuckers.

Recently in my area we had a speight of 21 consecutive car break-ins! Residents made some effort to help catch the guy, identifying common times/appearance etc. Surprised to find the cops actually caught the bastard!

I'm a firm believer in second chances, however there has to be some punishment for those kids, ideally all those involved, to ensure they realise that's simply not acceptable, and getting rear-ended in jail is a future consequence if they repeat.

That response is good to hear - too many times responses like this are ignored which encourages more like minded daftness so good for you. I'd say we were one up

Did you get your Zed sorted out?

Just so you don't feel alone over this - some time ago the wife and I were sat outside the door of a McDonalds drinking coffee. A car full of similar 17 year olds slowly drove past us and one of them had his window down and fairly obviously had his milk shake ready to lob . . . as I pulled my large coffee back to cocked position and shuck my head slowly he thought better of it and they drove off.
At times like this you do feel ready to rip someone's head off :x . . . . just saying
