a porsche is a porsche built by the same people no matter who owns them ! ive lived in germany long enough to know they - porsche , merc , bmw , audi ,vw all take great pride in their work and their product ! shame truimph ,jag, etc didnt do the same ! but yes it might be nice to see someone in their stuttgart stallion and ask are vw really that fast ? lol

Last I checked. Porsche came about as a racing division of VW. So haven't they always been connected at the hip in some fashion. The only thing that has changed is that they now share a bank account.
