Yorkshire Dales Run Anyone 30th Oct 2011

Hi anyone interested in a run through the Yorkshire Dales meet at Otley 8.30am rtd 9.00am up through Pateley Bridge,Kettlewell over the top and drop into Hawes for a late breakfast or early dinner back down via leyburn, Masham, Ripon and Summer Bridge finish with a coffee at riverside cafe Otley. Looking like the last W/E to get the last run of 2011 in. :driving:
 
Definite possibility! Travelling back from Perth on Saturday, so not 100% but if the weathers half decent then why not. Might drag along jaRED too.

Can't get much more local for me :)
 
Great! was going to gate crash the Scottish party as the Welsh were quiet (prefer Wales) but we should be seen to to be doing our own thing. Be great to meet a few faces as I'm a new member. I live in Wakefield, so anyone fancy joining us for a blast passing near by let me know, also I'm up for it in any weather :thumbsup:
 
Hi Taz, who's a lucky boy then, having 2 meets to choose from. The Scottish lads who are meeting at Queensferry Edingburgh and us Yorkshire lads. If your decision is based on cost, I can tell you we are 1 mile nearer at 113 miles to their 114 miles and to help you along with your decision, should you be able to make it, I'd like to make you a dragons den offer of buying you the first coffee of the day :thumbsup:

How about a coffee for me too? Depending on what end of the car park we stop at it's almost 4 miles from my house :)
 
Looking at where the interested parties are based I would like to make a suggestion or 3.
Suggestion 1: Meet at Leyburn the halfway point and drive around the Dales back to Leyburn.
Suggestion 2: Meet at Leyburn drive across to Kendal/Penrith and dinner at Alston cafe back to Leyburn via Kirkby Stephen.
Suggestion 3: Meet at Otley as planned but drive up through the Yorshire Dales to Scotch Corner where we can split.

I'm more than happy for 2 as well. Hope Guiseley is in favour as I could meet him at Otley and drive up to meet you guys.
In Leyburn main village square, there's a pub called the GOLDEN LION if we meet outside there at the same time around 8.30am for 9.00am drive.
If we each confirm on saturday for the sunday that will be great.
 
Scotch corner is another traditional meet point - nice and easy to get to off a1.

Am travelling back from Perth sat afternoon so unusually for me I'm not a defo at present - will post sat eve and poss meet at start point. Might bring mrs in her z4 too.
 
2 it is then. Hope Guiseley in, could meet and drive up with him also if cj10jeepers lets us know what his plans might be I could meet up with him then meet Guiseley.
