Yet another will this fit wheel/tyre question?

I have effectively confused myself
I have a 2006/7 3.0 si se (E86)
It has 17 inch wheels on it - no stagger (225x45xR17)

I believe E89 wheels will bolt straight on? (8J x 17 EH2) (EH2 is the lip for the runflats)
The wheels I am looking at at are Standard BMW 5x120 mm stud pattern with an is29 offset

It is the offset figure that is confusing to me as the offset on other wheels is 30 or 50 - not 29
The online calculators leave me nonplussed

The wheels will have winter tyres fitted (Non run flats I expect)

So will the E89 wheels fit?
If so will what problems should I look out for in the tyre sizing?

They will fit but they will be flush with the wheel arch & by comparison to your current set will give the car a wider stance
