Apologies up front for the question that has been asked many times on here, but for the life of me I just can’t get to “the” answer.
I have an E86 3 litre si SE, it’s now very close to 100k miles and it’s time to sort the suspension. I’ve had the rear coil springs replaced before, but I think it’s time to replace all of the coils and shocks front and back. After going through the various threads on here I think I’m going to go Bilstein b4’s all around and I’d like to go Suplex on the coils (don’t want it lowered so standard SE spec). Problem is no numbers seem to match! I can’t find the oem part numbers from the bmw parts catalogue (everything apart from the actual spring) so I have to look at the baffling array of available options. The Suplex numbers I have from threads on here are Rear spring 06228 and Front spring 06252. So can anybody confirm these or point me in the right direction please! Also any tips on other parts that might need replacing when they’re finally done. Many thanks in advance!
