Hello all, I'm not sure how many of you are also over on the z4 page on the bimmerpost forums, but I have a problem with my convertible top that I would love to resolve. When I press the top open button, all 4 windows roll all the way down, but then the process stops, no other noises or movement in the car. When I press the button again, the windows try to move down more, but since they are already fully open, nothing happens. With the fob, I cannot control the top whatsoever. Looking through ISTA, I have no fault codes for the CTM, or any modules, other than my right tail light being out. All of the windows are registered to the "open" position, rather than the "intermediate," the KOMBI reads outside temperature just fine, and no messages or errors are visible or audible within the little check control screen. I have checked fuse 25 and changed out the salmon relays thanks to help from the folks over at bimmerpost, but am stumped... I see B21 also active in this forum, whom suggested that the CTM itself may be dead, but I am not sure about how exactly to test this out yet... If possible I would like to avoid taking it to a shop, so any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you guys in advance!
