Hello everyone,

I’m Paul, from sunny Glossop, Derbyshire. :)

Been browsing for quite a while to find a Z4 e86 as a weekend/trackday car.

I’ve been fortunate enough to pick one up this last week and it’s everything I thought it would be and more, absolutely love it.

I’ve been reading through this site over the last few months to help inform me when it came to buying one, so thanks everyone for your contributions to threads, it’s really helped.

Pics attached.

looking nice! keep the CSLs for show, and pick up a cheap set of MV1s or MV2s for trackdays with trackday tyres would be my recommendation :thumbsup:

Ha very nice coupe! Used to be my old car and looks like the pics are still from when I took them :D

I bought the car off a forum member "JaEdBa" up in Peterborough.
I sold it to a chap in Reigate about a year ago now... Glad to see she's back on the forum :thumbsup:

Thanks!

It came on black BBS alloys, which is what I’d be using for the track days, the CSL’s for pottering around.

Though to be fair, there’s not a lot of pottering around currently :lol:

Ah, I was hoping one of the original owners might show up :D

The pics could well be yours Machpb, I haven’t had the chance to take any yet - far too busy driving it :roll:

Any information you’ve got about it - to be fair it came with a comprehensive folder of information and almost full service history - would be appreciated. I bought from a chap in Surrey, without actually seeing it, but I was provided with enough info to make an informed purchase.

She’s been very well looked after and is absolutely gorgeous, well done to you sir for keeping her so clean :D

Ha ha I don't blame you! Had some great fun driving her when she was with me. I was actually considering tracking her down to buy her back but went down the M route instead.

She did have some good history and full folder of work that had been done over the years.

Whilst she was with me I recall having the front bumper resprayed and then added the mstache2 front splitter. I also retrofitted a Bluetooth adaptor behind the centre bulkhead - which will allow you to stream via bluetooth and answer calls etc.
I do recall one of the CSL's being repaired for a crack as well - can't remember which one though!

Apart from that - I hope you enjoy her man! :driving:

Welcome to the forum OP - any E86 is a fantastic car. :thumbsup:

When I saw the first photos I was getting ready to see a Phoenix Yellow car, but that interior also goes really well with black and your car looks stunning. Enjoy. :driving:

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Been spending a bit of time looking through the site over the last few days, not a lot else to do really.

It would appear my car has a bit of History on here, originally being owned by a chap called JDM - and going by the name of BRUTUS.

The car, not the previous owner. . . .

It’s interesting to look back over the posts concerning its mods and development, gives you the impression that it’s been well looked after.

Anyone know if JDM is still around?

Thanks for the welcome, the cars had previous on the forum, being owned by 3 members who regularly posted about it, but the specs are;

* 2007 car
* Metallic Sapphire Black
* Manual
* 74,000 Miles
* Bluetooth Prep with voice recognition
* Heated Seats
* Individual Leather Phoenix yellow / anthracite with leather dash and piano black centre console trim.
* Sun Protection Glass
* Business Loudspeaker System
* Cruise Control
* Comfort Pack
* Xenon headlights

Modifications undertaken:

* M front bumper
* BMW aero carbon fibre rear diffuser (customised to suit quad exhaust)
* Custom made stainless steel cat back system with quad exit pipes (DTM style)
* Eibach lowering springs
* LED license plate lights (original BMW part)
* Gruppe M carbon fibre air induction kit
* Carbon fibre wrapped internal door grab handles (Not a fan, prefer black)
* Z4M gearknob
* Gloss black kidney grilles
* Gloss black painted brake callipers
* Chrome door lock pins
* 19” BBS alloy wheels in gloss black finish with as new set of NS-20’s
* 19" CSL copy alloys with nearly new set of Dunlop runflat tyres

G3org3y - yes it’s a standard BMW colour, bit different from full black, I like it :D

Thought I’d pop on here and see if my old car is still around.. this is the most recent post I can find.

Hopefully she’s still in one piece!
