Yet another coolant leak

My car just passed its mot with no advisories first time in my ownership, anyway took it out for a drive to celebrate, on my return home I was greeted to a slight coolant leak underneath the expansion tank, think I spend more time fixing this car than driving it .

As the tank, and radiator have just been replaced felt rather deflated, turns out it's the coolant hose from the heater matrix, I can't find this hose anywhere and it still looks in good condition.

Does anyone know where I can get the hose or the correct o ring?

Ideally I would like to to replace all the hoses to the tank so I don't have to keep draining coolant, but i got burnt buying gates branded hoses for the two main hoses, both didn't fit very well around the cross brace in front of the engine.

Hi, yes I'm sure it's not the temp sensor, I replaced that recently,

When I wiggle the hose that connects to the bottom of the expansion tank bracket the connection just above the drain plug I can see coolant leaking out.

So I've found my leak and it's the new expansion tank, it's gone in the same place as the original, only difference is it took 19 years and 100,000 miles for the original to fail but only 1 year and 1000 miles for the new one to go.

Twice now I've had a bad experience with febi bilstein, I guess there's a reason why the genuine bmw tank is a £100.

Jeez! Surely must be a warranty call on that one.
FWIW I fitted a Hella one on wifey's car 4 years back and that is still going strong...................... famous last words.
